Welcome to Digital Harmony

As you start down your educational path this year as a sixth grade student I want each of you to know that your teachers and I are very excited about having you as part of our Trojan family at R. Frank Nims Middle School. I hope that you all had a great summer vacation and are ready to not only meet new friend, but also learn a lot of new things as middle school students. The teachers and administrative staff have all been working very hard all summer in order to ensure that our school is prepared for a year of great historical landmarks.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was once quoted as saying, "the function of education is to teach people to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character - this is the goal of true education." As sixth grade student during the 2007 - 2008 school year at Nims Middle School you will be provided the opportunity to receive a free desktop computer. This Dell computer will allow you to access online educational programs and software that you will use not only during the school day, but also at home. Our school motto this year is "Do Your -Best And Nothing Less" and as your principal I am looking forward to the opportunity to ensure that each of you are able to be nothing less than the best students in the State of Florida.

You and your parents will be issued further information about the meetings, trainings, and forms that must be completed in order to receive your free Dell computer this year. We are looking forward to a great year and I am glad that you will be a part of the future of Nims Middle School.
